Episode 033 - Wednesday of Holy Week - Pilate’s Wife (Matthew 27:15-26)

Holy Week showcases the story of Jesus' final week in Jerusalem with his disciples, and many of the parts of that story are familiar. Yet one group of characters is often overlooked or pushed to the side: the women of Holy Week. Throughout this week, we will hear their stories and ponder what they reveal to us about the great love of God as shown in Christ's death and resurrection. On this Wednesday of Holy Week, we hear the story of Pilate's wife.

Throughout Holy Week, we want to encourage you to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus. Here on the podcast, we will offer daily reflections for your own devotional use. On Thursday April 6, Farmville Baptist will join with Heritage Baptist Church at 7 PM for a Maundy Thursday service, and Heritage will join Farmville Baptist on Friday April 7 for a noontime Good Friday service.
